Last week, Carroll Shelby- icon of the Cobra and Mustang.
This week, Donna Summer - Queen of the Disco era. She's had her last dance. Really upsetting and sad.

She sure did keep her illness quiet. I had absolutely no idea she was sick, until I heard it today.
'Last Dance' will make for a very moving moment at the very end of any tribute to her. I remember at the discos, that the lights would come up as the place was closing, right after that song finished. Then it was off to Jack-In-The-Box...the only place open for fast food at that time of the night, er, I mean...morning!
Life/death is funny that way...we come, we leave a mark, and then we just go. Like sands in an hour glass...these are the days of our lives!
I didn't know she was sick either, and to open the laptop today and read that she passed away was just a shock to me and after the shock wore off, the incredible sadness set in. She was one of my all-time favorites! I had every album (on 8-track - and later on LP's), except for the newer 90's and forward stuff. She was a gorgeous, talented and sweet lady and she will certainly be missed!
In Donna's honor, I will "Dim All The Lights". Rest in Peace, sweet lady!
