In other words, would you date a man who's a covert, action-hero type and an expert at gambling, wine and women in real life?

Or is it only a big screen fantasy?

Given that sleeping with James Bond is like the kiss of death in his movies, I'd have to say NO. His women have a high mortality rate.

The overall concept of a suave, international man of mystery? Still no. Sounds like an emotional roller coaster with an unreliable guy who would not be up for spending the occasional evening on the couch reading books together or playing scrabble.

Daniel Craig, however - oh yeah!

A guy who looks good in a suit is fine, but a guy who goes through women like tissues, is a professional liar and who's always jetting off to some far flung location to get in trouble is the opposite of attractive.

I have always hated the James Bond movies. He comes off as an arrogant ass IMO. I have never been able to sit thru an entire movie.

Perhaps. Except he gets laid anytime he wants to and gets to have his pick from a pool of beautiful women. But we all know that guys arent really into that, they would much rather spend their evenings reading books and playing scrabble. Get real.

Saving energy for other things later. Duh.

Never had trouble finding guys who enjoyed the occasional evening of scrabble and reading.

Come across way more of those than international men of mystery in bespoke suits on their way to thwarting global terrorist plots. Get real.

Well, you must be one in a million then. Or simply lying to yourself. Dont know which one and wont care to speculate. Provided, the international men of mystery is probably an outdated image. Hes been replaced by a jerk who treats women like sex objects.

Bond is fiction/fantasy. Part of his mystique is his ways with women. It's not necessarily meant to be anything more than to give the character his image.

The OP was asking if women find that man/lifestyle appealing, not if men do.
