I DID see Madonna's Who's That Girl world tour. The movie absolutely sucked but her concert was pretty successful. I saw it at Texas Stadium in Dallas in the summer of 87 (I think)...and as much as I LOVED her then, I would never see her now. She wasn't that great live...oh, her dancing was great and the experience was pretty darn cool, but she has never been a strong singer. I just can't imagine spending all that cash for her today...good for her but maybe since she has more money than God, she could drop her prices...alas...
Was that the one where she pointed up to the roof and said that "that hole needs to be a lot bigger"?. because it was so hot. I have friends that went to that concert. My Blonde Ambition ticket at Reunion arena was $38 in 1990, a tidy sum but nowhere in the stratosphere like it is now.

I'm sure that was the one although I don't remember her saying that. Honestly, the more beer I drank, the less I remembered anything she said BUT I do remember this polka dot outfit she wore. Good grief, the things we remember!
And yes, it was hot for sure! I would've liked it more at Reunion. You know, I paid $45 a pop for floor seats at Pink Floyd...I'll bet you anything I didn't pay that for Madonna. That was a lot of money then. What do they go for now? Over $100? PLUS parking? Forget it. It was fun then but not so much now.
i don't know about her grossing $150m...i just know about her grossing me out! :d
^^:d:d:d yup!!
