OTOH in her prime (late 1960's through 1970's) Cybil Shepherd was all American beauty on a stick. Besides her modeling photos catch early films such as The Last Picture Show and Taxi.

As for soft focus there were far worse offenders on evening/prime time television during 1980's.

Joan Collins, Barbara Stanwyck, Stephanie Beacham, Katharine Ross, Jane Wyman and others were shot through so much gauze or Vaseline you wanted to have your eyes checked afterwards.

Should be "Taxi Driver"

What happens often in long term marriages, even if the wife is very attractive, the husband will get the urge with an available, albeit woman of questionable looks, to have an affair.

My God look at what Arnold had an affair AND A SON with. Yukk!

I agree about Cindy Crawford, especially when she's trying to credit lotions and potions (which she's hawking)--and melons--for her youthful skin.

When she was 40, she famously said that she owed the quality of her skin to her cosmetic surgeon.

C'mon.

Rihanna. Especially after she cut her hair. I'm of the opinion that some women can pull off the short-hair thing but in many cases I don't find it to be a good look. But whatever floats her boat. Her music I also find to be 'unattractive' but thats a different conversation.

Also Gwen Stefani and her music also applies to the above as does her sense of fashion.

I agree, Julia Roberts is a mystery to me--not particularly attractive or talented. It's unclear why some people find her glamorous.

I will add Rihanna to the list as well.

But Goldie was SO CUTE back in the day. Always loved her. She probably, like a lot of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s, spent a lot of time in the sun.
