I absolutely hate New York or New Jersey accents. It's just so overdone and cliche, especially with men, like they're supposed to be taken as badass just because they have that accent.
I mention this here, because it's impossible to not hear it when watching any movie set in the USA, even if it's not in NY.

Jennifer Tilly
Rosie Perez ( her voice makes me crazed)
Fran Drescher --(how could I have left her off?? I won't watch anything she is on)
I can't believe I'm digging up your post from 6 years ago but Fran Drescher has too have one of the most obnoxious irritating voices ever!
It would be ok if that was just her 'comedic" voice ( calling her a comedian is a stretch by the way !) but it's so annoying that I can't even watch her on TV !
Somebody mentioned Gilbert Godfried but he knows his voice is for comedic purposes!
I think if we ever had to torture prisoners again get rid of water boarding and replace it with episodes of the "Nanny" !
PS: Rosie Perez has a cute voice ! So New Yawkish!
I have a real hard time watching one of the sweetest movies ever made "It Could Happen to You" because she's in it.
I will not re-watch White Men Can't jump, even though I really liked it the one and only time I saw it, but she is especially over the top loud in that movie.
I have never put myself through the torture of watching any other movie with her in it.
