I doubt that Affleck's family disliked her because she was a Latina. I would imagine IF they felt that way, it had more to do with her past and her lifestyle. She likes men, and the younger the better. It seems odd to me that a grown, mature woman would want a boy toy. It has to be about sex. That is fine if that is what you want, but don't expect a relationship to last when you pick a guy that is obviously after the publicity of dating JLO.

She is probably one of the worst singers in the history of the world. Yeah, your cousin is probably worse, but your cousin doesnt have the benefit of a producer behind her helping to manufacture her sound at the family reunion! It is almost industry fact that she isnt even close to being passable. Her acting is average at best. I dont have a problem with her dancing, but that doesnt mean she should be as popular as she is. I dont think she is even close to a total package. She doesnt do anything particularly well--well, okay, maybe dance...but being just a great dancer doesnt make you some great entertainer.
Honestly, she was fading away until American Idol rescued her.

I agree. Without Idol she would have gone away. Now, she quit Idol because of her career, big mistake in my opinion.
I think she is more famous for her relationships than any of her singing, dancing or acting.
I'll be honest when I think of her the first thing that comes to my mind is her dating Diddy & the Grammy dress. Then I think of Bennifer. Then her divorce and current fling with Casper.
Yes, her lifestyle and flings are more memorable than anything else she has done.
