Funny, but I found myself thinking of an episode where she turned 36 and felt so old because she was now more than halfway to 72, the average of dying at that time. I just remember her observation on this being poignant. And even moreso today, since she didn't even make it to 72. What sad news, I really liked her.
Same crap that took Mike Landon and Patrick Swayze
RIP, little red head!
Steve Jobs too. Pancreatic and esophageal cancers are the toughest to fight and have some of the highest mortality rates even if you go into submission like my hubby (esophageal), Jobs and Swayze did. They all died within 7 years of remission and it coming back.
Pancreatic Cancer is pretty much a death sentence. My mother only lasted 5 months once diagnosed. I seem to remember Jobs had a different form of cancer of the pancreas than most, probably had a better chance, but he made a bad choice of treatment option and waited too late to change it. I've never heard anything but good things about Bonnie...she'll be missed, that's for sure!
