Will Smith reveals his 14-year-old son Jaden wants to be emancipated | Fox News

This is the stupidest thing ever! He's 14 years old!!

Hollywood parents...............

Quote:
They don’t punish them, instead letting them make their own decisions. And actor son Jaden has decided that for his 15th birthday in July he would like the gift of FREEDOM from his parents — and to be able to live in a home of his own.
They dont punish them .........they make their own decisions???? So what do Will and Jada do????????

I read that yesterday and honestly I thought my eyes were gonna roll back into my head

This is what can/does and did happen when you don't allow children to be children. So now at age 15 he wants to own his own house and probably can afford it once he receives emancipation. I would assume the money he's been making would then be released to him.
It's ridiculous. Period.
Some twenty somethings are ill prepared for adult responsibility. That comes with age and living and a 15 year old is not ready and I don't care how rich he is.

So fitting for our society today though kids want to move out of parent's home with a house all set up like home was. Want fancy new cars and think at 18 they know it all so I'm not shocked that rich famous kids want it even sooner. They are all stupid though they don't appreciate what they have at home.

Didn't the daughter just go through something with the parents.
I have never thought much about this family.

I think the daughter told her folks that she did not want to act any longer. She prefers to be a regular 12 year old.

Jaden sure looks like his mother.

people should care before it becomes the new "IN" thing. People should care because a 15 year old is a child. A child who needs parental guidance for many more years. If the parents can't provide it then perhaps Child Protective Services can.

Can we get freedom from his shar-pei facial expression in every other photo taken of him? So sick of seeing him pouting with his eyebrows and forehead all wrinkled up like he has the weight of the world on his privileged little snot shoulders. Exhibit A:
