I didn't see who posted this and I went to click on rep, notice came up that I wasn't allowed to rep you anymore. I think I've done too many on the poli board...anyway

I was thinking the exact same thing:

My favorites are Dave Chapelle, Dave Attell, Daniel Tosh, Louis CK, Richard Pryor, and Will Ferrell

My 2nd tier would be Jim Gaffigan, and Brian Regan (clean humor, but funny)

And finally Amy Schummer is on my list as a real fast newcomer, and Mitch Hedburg was so very funny with his specialty one-liners,

Denis Leary was my favorite when he was doing standup in the 90's..... I also hear Bob Saget is pretty good.

Dave Chappelle always had me laughing out loud and I always remembered liking Dana Carvey as well.

A few years ago my wife got me hooked on this kid Bo Burnham... got his fame off Youtube and has cut some comedy albums and always tours the country... real bright and funny kid... his act is based on him singing and it's real clever stuff.

George Carlin
Richard Pryor
Eddie Murphy
Mitch Hedberg
Chris Rock
Robin Harris
Rodney Dangerfeld
Louis Black
Jeff Ross
Lisa Lampenelli

Very few female standup comedians I find funny. Maybe its just something about women's comedy that I just don't find anywhere near as funny as the men. Lisa Lampenelli, Roseanne, Kathy Griffin, are all individually funny, but only Lampenelli could make my top ten list.
