I do not get the Marilyn Monroe thing AT ALL.

Yes, she was a sex symbol but there was a vulnerability about her. It's been over 50 years since her
death and I can't think of any other female actress who still draws so much attention and interest.
She was also a very loving person unfortunately due to her dysfunctional upbringing (in foster homes)
her depression and sense of loneliness - led to her demise.
I saw her in person. Up close at a casual family event where she was with her children and not "on". Absolutely one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. Jaw dropping beautiful. And she was a nice as she was beautiful.
I was happy to see Maureen O'Hara included. She is one of my favorite beauties ever, along with Kim Novak, Elizabeth Taylor (my #1 pick), Marilyn Monroe, Gina Lollobrigida, Natalie Wood, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, and Greta Garbo.
I never would have thought of Vivian Leigh, and I certainly don't think she should be #1.
There are a few there that made me wonder "why".
I know a woman who looks a LOT like Grace Kelly and she, too, is very beautiful.
