I think the issue is that many of the performers aren't ready to deal with the consequences of this 'profession' when they are ready to 'leave' the industry. Putting 'Able to perform DVDA' on a resume doesn't really open up many jobs for you.
She should open her own agency or production company. She does not have to leave the industry. She just doesn't have to be on camera. How about a reality show about the porn business? I would watch that.
I guess I''m not understanding how someone who was able to make millions ended up losing her house & kids. I thought she was a ""business woman"". Sadly she has proven she is just a prostitute! Nothing else!
Happens all the time (usually minus the porn star/prostitute part)! Even millions of dollars can go very fast, especially if you're living a "high class" lifestyle - fancy cars, huge homes, clothing, jewelry, etc.
Not sure about losing the kids, but losing that kind of money is pretty easy if you're not careful.
Lol @ the term "leaked" (no pun intended). Please, most of the time these videos are "leaked" on purpose to make money off of it.
How does a "private video" get out to people. Obviously the people in the videos leaked the footage themselves, because it keeps them relevant or gets people talking and they can make money off of it. DUH.
They were interviewing some sex tape distributor (didn't catch the name/intro) on Howard Stern yesterday... when asked if Kim K's sex tape was "accidentally leaked," his answer was basically "I won't say she sold it to us, but we have an ongoing financial agreement that makes her very very happy."
As much as I can't stand "Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham, at least she was honest about her sex tape. She tried pulling it off as leaked in the beginning, but eventually admitted it was planned all along. Um, duh?? The man in her video was a porn star (James Deen), for crying out loud!

Easy. Lots and lots of people watched "Teen Mom" (myself included, sad to say), and actually know who she is - plus she's that "girl you love to hate" from the show, so I'm sure many people watched the video just to laugh, groan, and sadistically enjoy her failures in life.
Lawrence Fishburn's daughter, on the other hand, is a relative unknown. Her dad is very famous, but who knew of his daughter until now? I didn't even know he had a daughter, let alone her name, so couldn't care less that she did a porno. Not that I care about Farrah's video either, however I do admit to watching a brief clip out of morbid curiosity. All I can say about what I saw is ewwwwwww.

LOL @ the bolded! As if having sex on camera is not degrading enough. I mean she EVENTUALLY made her money but if you look at what they are paid it's not enough IMO. She used to get 6K a video then eventually about 20-30 now remember there is a chance you gonna catch HIV. Then she smartened up & made her own productions then of course real money strarted rolling in and it went straight up her nose
