Default 93 MPH on Baloney Skin Tires

Good grief....wealthy dudes riding around on 9-year old tires.

Story in today's L.A. Times

Excerpts:

- "The rate of speed was determined using surveillance videos and electronic data retrieved from the car’s computers with the help of the carmaker."

- "Investigators also determined that a pair of 9-year-old tires contributed to the crash, not a mechanical failure."

- "The 2005 Porsche Carrera GT has a history of being difficult to control....built without the stability management system with which most Porsche models are equipped."

Paul should have kept his love for fast cars to the racetrack. If he did, he could still be alive raising money for charity.
This is what the British used to call "Death by misadventure".
How many men have died due to this kind of macho bravado?
