She will always be a cheerful "curly top" to us. RIP Shirley.

RIP Shirley Temple

She was about as cute as a child actress could be.

Really enjoyed her movies.

Also will never forget her song "On The Good Ship Lollipop"

I find it so amazing that Mickey Rooney is still alive, at 93.

I get kinda bummed when I think that there's almost no one left of the stars I grew up watching (I'm 66) as the greatest generation slips away....

Doesn't say a whole lot about today's TV audience when Shirley Temple can be replaced by Honey Boo Boo.

Default A most memorable and beloved child star

Focusing strictly on her childhood career, she was cute as a button and so entertaining. She reminded me what a joy kids can be. She was a positive image to millions.

May she rest in peace.

A little girl with a big talent in her day. And they didn't dress her up like a grown-up but let her be a kid. When she became a grown-up she had grace and style.

RIP Shirley. She's tap dancing for the angels along with Bo Jangles.
