They never were on the level of *NSYNC or The Backstreet Boys as far as commercial success. Lou Pearlman was their manager and the guy that created those two acts, as well as O-Town. He did some not-so-good things as far as taking money from them all.

O-Town was a second tier boy band. They are in the same league as 98 degree.
