Jeremy Carter, 28, died suddenly yesterday. He was the grandson of former president Jimmy Carter.

I read about this on CNN.

The 28 year old son of a good friend of mine died two months ago. Like young Mr. Carter (also 28), he seemed to be in perfect, youthful health. Indeed, he was a blessing to his family since he lived at home to help care for his father (my friend, in very poor health indeed), including carrying him to the car for doctor's appointments, etc.

The young man simply laid down to take a nap, and never woke up. An autopsy did not reveal drug usage or anything medically amiss. His heart simply ceased performing its' office.

I feel for young Mr. Carter's parents and other family members. Sometimes the good truly die young.

How very sad for the Carter family. It's very hard to lose someone so young.

That is so heartbreaking. God be with their family. Carter is too old to have to bear something like this.
