You don't know what she was smoking. For example, the cast of Mad Men, a show known for its excess in alcohol and tobacco usage, all smoked herbal cigarettes (no tobacco, no nicotine).
No, but I remember seeing an interview with Colleen Dewhurst talking about a young fan who was very disappointed when she saw "Marilla Cuthbert" smoking.
(For those who don't understand the reference, Dewhurst played the character in the very good and highly successful "Anne of Green Gables" miniseries.)
Yes but only if I'm really into them. Any time I see one of my celeb men smoking, I have been disappointed. I still love them of course and 95 percent of the time I would not wish to date them if I had the chance but it's still a disgusting thing to do and I worry for their health.
But come on OP I agree it's just a movie. I'm not worried about smoking for a role. Most of the time it's fake.

It really doesn't makes sense when you're a singer. I guess in some people it works in their favor. Pink smokes and the raspy tone is what she's famous for.

When I was in my teens, my favorite athlete was Carl Yastrzemski, who played for the Red Sox. I was shocked when I saw him at a spring training game smoking. However, looking back everyone smoked back in those days.
Felt this way when I saw Sandra Bullock smoking in the preview for her upcoming movie. Felt this way about some young celebrities.
I heard she also farts. I'd totally kick her out of bed!
