I was watching some episodes of 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents' and a name kept coming up in a lot of the shows!

Sometimes it was the name of an actor in the show and sometimes in the credits as a Producer.

I clicked on his name on my fios tv guide and it gave his birth date as 1914.

What made me sit up and really take notice .. thinking that there must be some kind of a mistake was when I saw the same name in a 2015 movie, written by Amy Schumer called Trainwreck!

The guy was born in 1914!

Surely it couldn't be the same guy!?

It was!

The guy was still acting and he was over 100 years old!

WOW!

I remember him well though can't recall all his movies. How great he's still active and working...

Olivia De Havilland isn't working (I don't think) but she's catching Norm!

She just turned 102 in July!

Boy! This prompted me to look him up on IMDB.
He didn't get his first movie role until he was 27.
When St. Elsewhere started he was 67.

Now this was surprising. His height is listed as on 5'5".
He sure has seemed taller than that whenever I've seen him (on TV or film).
I know actor's height can be hard to tell. But some people just "look" short. And he never has looked short to me.

In any case, G-d bless him.
I have got to try to find out his secret to long life.....
