How low can Tiger Woods go. Very sad to see his life go this way!

Tiger had a great career and is such a celebrity and seen as a role model by many!

Time to look at different role models.

I don't think you understand the purpose/usage of exclamation points....

Why would someone's misfortunes or poor choices be exciting (or even alarming) to you? I think he's made a lot of poor choices but I don't understand the apparent glee in your post. He clearly seems to be a person who is struggling. I hope he can get it together and figure his life out. With or without golf.

I am not a golfer, nor am I a Tiger Woods fan. So he had a drink or two to many. I have done that too once in a while. It happens. In what way was he seen by many as a role model?

I used to watch a lot of golf, and I followed Tiger Woods career almost from the beginning.

It isn't (at least in my view) a question of "glee". Tiger Woods, more than most, cultivated -- both by what he said and did, and what press agent types said and did -- that he was a role model. He didn't just go out and play golf, like most on the circuit do, he worked very hard at creating an image that he sold (quite literally) to the public.

And then it all began to crumble with his marital infidelities. He had actively promoted himself as a role model in terms of being a family man, even going so far as to pay for "family photos" taken by a professional, which were then published. Publicity...and as we learned, not much more than publicity. Then, once the scandal really hit, he suddenly brought up his deep Buddhist faith (his mother is a Thai Buddhist)...something he had never talked about before...as a means of propping up his image.

In the end, the emperor had no clothes. A great golfer, but in terms of his personal behavior, not much more impressive than a flimsy Hollywood back lot.

I don't disagree, I just don't make the connection to "Tiger Woods arrested for DUI!" "Very sad to see his life go this way!"

The tone of those posts sure comes across as gleeful to me.

It IS sad.

I had the same thoughts and on top of that the risks he takes to harm others.

Today Tiger came out he didn't drink but mixed meds and had no clue how dangerous that can be.

Really?

For a dad to not know how careful you have to be with medications and top athletes are constantly told about medications and doping and how they have to be careful.

It may be as he says but that makes him more stupid to me!

To me it shows he doesn't care about what risks he takes as he probably is so under the influence of meds that he can't think clearly anymore.

Has anyone seen what he looked like and sorry, most man don't wear make up and can blame a bad picture on not having their hair and make up done.

Tiger looks really bad.

I hope he seeks the help he clearly needs. Money is not making everyone happy!

Insane that he made that much money from Golf. (mostly endorsements). Golf is an incredibly boring sport to watch.

This dude should retire from Golf before he puts more blemishes on his golf career. His back is a problem from him. He won all the titles multiple times. There is nothing left to accomplish in Golf. Dude lost his hair. When that pornstar/escort scandal that was pretty much the beginning of the end for him.

Dude should retire and enjoy the $740 million.

It seems now that we have to feel sorry for Tiger and maybe a go funding page may be started. He was asleep behind the wheel and had a slurred speech.

It seems Tiger can't read the instructions on his meds!
