Celebrities are people, too. I have known a few myself, yes, personally. And many of them are truly witty, funny, inspiring, and philanthropic . Why would anyone not want to meet the ones like I just described?

My wife and I got to meet the only celebrities (to us) we have ever had any desire to meet, March 13, at the Lyric Theater in Baltimore. This clip is actually from Tampere, Finland but it shows all the group’s members we met. It’s an odd thing for us, we have never, either of us, had any desire to meet performers of any sort until we became familiar with these folks. We really wanted to make sure we got to see them. We got the VIP tickets so we could meet them personally before the show. They don’t come to the U.S. that often and both of us, being 70 years old, could be dead the next time they come, LOL.

Well, I get to cross Boy George off of my list in 11 weeks, because Culture Club is playing at Turning Stone Casino on July 26 as part of their US tour that starts next month, and I bought the VIP Meet & Greet ticket.
We follow each other on Twitter and he has actually responded to a few of my Tweets.
