Burt Reynolds is receiving so many heartwarming tributes from those who worked with him or simply admired him. MeTV is airing his early Gunsmoke episodes and his Tonight Show appearances, and another nostalgia station (which we dont receive--darn) is airing Dan August and Hawk.
The day after he died, I noticed people lined up at the newspaper shelf at Wegmans. I stopped to look when I left, and there were the NY tabloid (Post/Daily News) cover stories with plenty of photos, which drew the attention of young people, too.
Even Loni Anderson released a touching statement on behalf of herself and their son, and theirs was a very contentious divorce.
