Agreed. People also didn’t eat as healthy back then, either. A daily diet of bacon and eggs for breakfast and steaks/chops for dinner was the norm back them. Between this, as well as the smoking and drinking and drug use, it’s no wonder folks died younger back then.
And if you go back further, you have a notably increased risk for various diseases and less accomplished surgery that also shortened life spans.
I still think its these damn chemicals all around us. Food additives, detergent, pollution, cleaning chemicals etc. Bad lifestyle
Choices contribute also for many, also the anxiety of living in todays world- which drives bad habits like booze, smoking etc.

I would imagine that is definitely a factor (frankenfoods, chems, poisons, carpet, electronics, etc).
Or as they said on one of the shorts by the Three Stooges, “A short life and a merry one.” Whatever floats the boat, I suppose. I’ll take one that’s as long as possible that’s of good quality, thanks.
'Lifestyle' includes many things. Frankly, I don't consider many celebrities to be living healthy ones at all. It's not an occupation that's based on a healthy lifestyle.

Yeah, so this healthy living trend we're in now is a good thing. It's hard to achieve, but at least we keep trying and it's a great goal to strive for.
