My daughter went to University with Saget's daughter. They were on the same floor in the residence hall, and were in next-door suites. I met Saget a few times by random chance there at school; he seemed like a nice person in real life.

I hope I die like him.

Later: Oh no, I just heard on Ent Tonight...he had a bad bout with Covid...sigh, so they will
be looking for any blood clots from that.
I hope Covid has not caused another death.
I HATE Covid!

Not what I read. He had a very mild case and was over it, before he passed.

"It does not feel good", was Bob's comment.
I'm sorry to have used the word bad. I think a cold is bad and does not feel good.
I did not mean to mislead.
They did report the possibility of a clot and will be checked.

Son came home with a lower opinion of that gent. Some may enjoy raunchy. He did not. What I thought was a kind gesture , left a sense of, maybe I should have done a bit more review before gifting such.

Will say this, his devotion to his daughters is commendable. They must be so devastated. And for that I can respect this time of loss for those that knew him as a dad ...a friend .
He was SUPER raunchy in fact, and even made jokes about child molestation and that sort of thing. I'm sorry but I don't find that sort of thing funny either. No, wait, I'm not sorry - I just don't find that sort of thing to be funny.

I don't mind raunchy, but I never found BS to be funny at all. Not glad he died or anything, just didnt laugh at his jokes very much.

Then don't listen to his comedy. Differents strokes for different folks.

Well, Bob Saget was a night club comic first and that's what he was last as well. I think in that context his act wasn't that much filthier than what's standard in that realm. I suspect it's the fact that it's juxtaposed with his character on Full House (a contrast he himself loved to play up) that was shocking to people.

I found his explicit descriptions of child molestation to be unsettling.
