So sad to hear this news, although I realized he was on borrowed time (following multiple heart attacks).  I had the pleasure of seeing George Carlin live twice, and he was a comic genius... made me laugh so hard, my cheeks hurt for days. RIP George.

This is truly shocking. He was my all time favorite comedian. He had some very interesting point of views and was always so funny. I also had the pleasure of seeing him live a couple years ago and he was great. RIP George, you will be missed. |

He never seemed quite the same after his wife died.

I agree BlueWillow, he became very sullen after she passed away and it made me sad. I'm sure they are together now yucking it up.

I also had the pleasure of seeing him live, and still remember how much my abdominal muscles hurt the next morning.

I heard this this morning. I never really liked him that much but a lot of people did. Sorry to hear of his passing.
