I have no problem with Oprah or people who flaunt wealth. I encourage everyone to flaunt wealth. You worked for it so be proud of it. I don't know why poor people have this resentment towards the wealthy.

She is wealthy because:
She worked hard,
She worked smart,
She gave people something they wanted.
NOT because of the little guys, except that 'the little guys' responded in spades to what she had to offer.
No, giving back does not make her a martyr...just a person with a sense of social responsibility.
