I am having a hard time keeping it together at the office right now - I wish her family well.
Hugs to you! I'm still holding out hope. I don't believe anything that TMZ.com reports. Until a reputable news source or her family states the above, I refuse to believe it.
I've skied at Mont Tremblant resort with my 3 year old. The beginners area is what a beginner's area would be - flatter, no trees. So strange. I skied down the regular runs (alone) and some places are very steep, but she was in the beginner area.

CNN and FoxNews both are reporting that Natasha Richardson has died. Fox read a statement from a representative of Liam Neeson confirming her death and thanking the public for their support, and to respect the family's privacy at this difficult time.
She was my age, so this has been a "mortality wake up call" for me. My father fell and hit his head a few years ago, but luckily they were able to operate and relieve the swelling before there was any damage. After a few months of physical therapy he was fine! I guess it can go either way depending on where the injury is, and how quickly medical help arrives. This is so sad. I feel so bad for her family.
Breaking news this evening, and news that really saddens me. I really admired Natasha as an actress. She was a true class act.
My heart goes out to her family.
