LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- The son of actor Michael Landon was found dead in his West Hollywood, California, home Monday afternoon, according to investigators.
There was "no indication of foul play" in the death of Mark Landon, 60, according to the report from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Michael Landon as been dead 18 years I think. This was his first wife's son Michael adopted when they were married. When I read the thread title I was thinking the one that makes LHOTP type movies for Hallmark.

Oh, that's right. I forgot Micheal Landon was also dead. He died of pancreatic cancer in 1991. Where does the time go?
wow, he had a 60 year old son?? Hard to believe and tragic for his family. I honestly had no idea he would have a 60 year old son.
EDIT: he was a son Michael adopted when he married Dodie.
No, he couldn't have a (natural) 60 year old son - Michael Landon born October 31, 1936 - July 1, 1991. If my math is correct, he would be turning 73 this year. Well I guess if he fathered a child at 12... lol
From wiki -
Mark Fraser Landon, born October 1, 1948 (adopted, Dodie's biological son), died May 11, 2009
Mark Frasier Landon was adopted in 1956, aged 7, by the 20 year-old actor Michael Landon. Mark's mother was Michael's then wife, Dodie Levy-Frasier.
