Even worse than making fun of them, she flat out called them liars when they reported the torture they endured at the hands of the communist troops Fonda supported. She also never apologized for that insult either.

You big brave men make me sick! Go pick on another man, see how well you can hold up then.
I'd pick on anybody that did what she did. I spent a year flying aircraft in that hell hole. Getting shot at regularly, never knowing if today would be the day I don't come back. If I had known where and when she sat on that anti-aircraft gun, I'd have bombed her into oblivion.
