Just saw on TMZ that the body will be driven to Neverland Ranch for a public viewing for his fans.

Genius. They can turn it into a museum where tourists from all over the world will want to come visit. Providing that they keep it and dont sell it or lose it.

I'm betting it goes to the courts and gets sold to cover his financial obligations that are in the hundreds of millions. Just saw an article where they have been uncovering his financial mess. He had a loan on that property so I bet it gets sold. Doubt Joe has the money to keep it.

Sorry, but Neverland doesn't have the zoning for it to be used as commercial property and I HIGHLY doubt the people of Santa Barbara County will pass it so the zoning laws are bent for Neverland. It currently sits in an agriculture zoned area which wouldn't allow for it to be used as commercial... which is what Graceland is.

Nice try though. Hate to be the voice of reason in the MJ thread hysteria.

Actually, you're not the voice of reason. Mayor Blum may be leading the charge in this. Think its something she thinks would be great for S.B. business and economy.

Yeah... and the Mayor decides for the thousands that live there. Who do so to live a nice, quiet life. The thousands that never liked the attention Neverland brought to their community in the first place. The thousands that live in an agriculture zone 'cuz they don't want to live in a commercial zone.

Just seems the Mayor may have jumped on the bandwagon. Good luck with getting that passed, Mayor. Hope she's sitting down when reality hits her.

Pssst... you do realize she's the Mayor of Santa Barbara... which means she's just the mayor of a town and not in charge of the entire Santa Barbara County which is a county made up of many towns....

And she's the voice of reason?

But that may depend on your definition of 'reason'.

I thought MJ already lost Neverland to debts how can they take him back there when he doesn't own it now?

I thought so as well.
In fact I read he was over $500 million dollars in debt! That's enough debt to kill me from stress.
