I also watched the whole memorial service. At the end, I shed a tear when Paris spoke. Even though it was a public service, I hated how random people were shouting.

There was a quote from Rev. Al Sharpton. He said something along the lines of "There was nothing strange about your daddy. It was strange what your daddy had to deal with, but he dealt with it."

Hell, I'd even go so far as to call every single fan on the globe his extended family. He is OUR Elvis...

A little peice of MJ will live on with those of us who appreciated his talent.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have a feeling that they removed his body so that they can bury him in peace without the media prying or crazed fans trying to dig him up.

It felt that Maria Carey was showing off more than she was paying tribute to Michael. I think my favorite performances were by Jermaine, Jennifer Hudson and Usher.

Most of the sentiments and performances were very nice, I think he would have been touched.

I was very touched by Usher, Brooke Shields, Jermaine and mostly his beautiful little girl. The anguish she must be feeling is so sad.

I wonder where Lisa Marie Presley was ? Also, did Elizabeth Taylor send some sort of statement ?
