i know that it is going to be called the kate show (or whatever) now, but i am just calling it jon and kate for simplicity.
are people getting tired of their antics and hoping that someone will step in and protect the children? (since it doesn't look like it is going to be TLC)
I voted "yes" even though I've only seen the show once and that was when I was sitting with my mom in the hospital.
We all know people who have gone through bad divorces. Even when it's someone you love and want to support, listening to it can become tiresome. Do these people really deserve to be paid to whine and air their dirty laundry on television?
I think with all the family drama, it is not healthy to continue filming the children in this environment. Separation and divorce may make TLC salivate but what about the psychological damage to the kids?

I agree. Divorce is bad enough without it being documented on TV. I can't even imagine a parent willing to put their child through that. The kids may not realize it now, but in a few years, this could be devastating.
I vote, none of the above.
Jon and Kate are a mismatch, but Kate can continue making episodes with the kids as long as someone wants to watch. Jon can go try to find his misspent youth. If Jon doesn't want the show to continue, let him support the children in the style they are accustomed to. I think he wants to start a clothing line? What's the monthly payment on a $1.4 M house?
i actually enjoyed the show in the beginning, since they seemed caring and better adjusted then.
i just think it is a terrible shame what is happening now, since the parents have been able to shift the focus from the children back to themselves and it wasn't a show about parents in the first place, but about family. now when i flip channels, i even find the previews for the show annoying.
They need to focus on their kids. period. Divorce is difficult & personal. If only they would invest as much effort into having well adjusting kids as they do sustaining their 15 minutes ................Myself - I would have done my best to stop the circus when I knew my marriage was in trouble.
