I think she's talented and gorgeous but is married to a man child doofus.
I'm pretty sure though that her children think she's very relevant.

Relevant as to what?
She is apparently a good mom. She has a good relationship with her hubby. She is a smart businesswoman.
So, I ask "relevant to what?" She is not really a controversial personality.
p.s. I think her best work was in St. Elmo's Fire.

More than horrible.
The only reason anyone "sees" her anymore is for her cougar status.

I think she got very lucky. There's probably a million actresses from the 90's like her that have no visibility now.
-She stayed in the news by hooking up with Ashton right at the peak of his fame (2002/03), from "Punk'd".
-Her kids get a lot of publicity. More publicity than other celebrity kids.
Gee, does this sound familiar? Hook up with a famous partner, and your kids get lots of publicity? (i.e. Angelina Jolie).
I think celebrities now need one of 3 things to keep them in the news...
-A hot career.
-A hot partner.
-Famous kids (or famous adoptions, angelina, madonna).
What's Ashton going to think when she's 60 or 65? Whats bruce going to think?

I think when a woman looks younger than she is....what's a 15 year difference? It is probably a bigger deal to the public than it is to them.

The gist I'm getting from these posts is that she's relevant because she looks younger than she is.
really? Is that all it takes?

I'm not a fan, though I think that she was beautiful when she was younger.
I liked the film
Ghost, but I enjoyed the late Patrick Swayze (
) and Whoopi Goldberg in it more than I enjoyed Moore.
Lord Augusta (
) doesn't like her at all for some reason.

Demi does look great, but so would anyone else who had as much work done as she had. She even had her knees lifted!

Would anybody be talking about Katie Holmes if not for Tom Cruise?

I don't mean to be a downer but I wonder what will happen to her when the relationship with Ashton ends.
