What a shame. Gene Barry was man of exceptional quality, character, and class. I always admired him in each of his roles, and he had a profound effect on me as I was growing up. I will always cherish his work.

May this great man and actor rest in peace.

"Never drink martinis with a beautiful suspect"

Loved watching "Burke's Law" reruns recently on ALN network. I was a small kid when it was on and don't really remember watching. Barry was so suave, cool and classy on that show - which featured a lot of old Hollywood guest stars. Aaron Spelling produced and his wife Carolyn Jones (later Morticia Addams) is on one of the best episodes. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her virtuoso quadruple role as sisters in "Who Killed Sweet Betsy?"

Bat Masterson, a cool guy. Remember watching him in my teens. RIP Gene Barry.
