Her book has been on the Bestseller List for 5 weeks as a pre-order. She's hitting the talk and news show circuit to promote the book where her publisher thinks the people (women and conservatives) most likely to buy the book will be watching. I don't see anything wrong with the strategy. After all, you write books to make money.
Well you can hope so, she had a 50/50 shot at being The Vice President so we'll see where she goes from here.
She was the final nail in the coffin for a campaign that was already hurting. Her poor showing out on the national stage pretty much ensures that she is done with politics on the national level.
She'll still get support from the far right wing, but those who fall more central and left on the political spectrum are pretty much done with her. She wasn't ready for the role McCain picked her for, she got clobbered, and now she's suffering for it.
