Sad news! I used to love watching that show on reruns! I wish some channel would show it.

I think I "may" have once seen an episode of "The Equalizer", not my type of show. IMO the title of this thread should be "Breaker Morant" passes away.

From the movie, and part of a poem written by Harry "Breaker" Morant;

"It really ain't the place nor time to reel off rhyming diction,
but yet we'll write a final rhyme while waiting crucifixion.
For we bequeath a parting tip
of sound advice for such men who come in transport ships
to polish off the Dutchman.
If you encounter any Boers, you really must not loot 'em,
and if you wish to leave these shores, for pity's sake, don't shoot 'em. Let's toss a bumper down our throat before we pass to Heaven,
and toast a trim-set petticoat we leave behind in Devon."

He will be missed.

A fine British actor from the old school. Great loss when a man like this passes on. He was a man of great character, humility, and dignity - traits that appear on the wane among today's stars. Tragic. I enjoyed his work and will continue to do so.
