Well, in the case of Tiger, having affairs doesn't exactly help.

News, Tiger's Troubles Widen His Distance From Blacks.

Amid all the headlines generated by Tiger Woods' troubles — the puzzling car accident, the suggestions of marital turmoil and multiple mistresses — little attention has been given to the race of the women linked with the world's greatest golfer. Except in the black community.

The is ridiculous. Tiger is a golfer - the best. He should be a role model to young golfers... that it! His private life and marriage is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

More Tiger News,

Cheaters Leave Tracks in the Digital Age

(Dec. 3) -- Tiger Woods has long since mastered the use of every club in his golf bag. Yet he, like many Americans, apparently is still learning the hazards of communicating too openly by modern methods such as text messaging.

Woods is certainly not alone. As communication technology continues to evolve, unfaithful partners are finding it easier to keep in touch with their illicit lovers -- but it's also a lot easier to get caught.

He is in one sport that is dominated by pretty conservative thinking people as far as behavior. That is apparent from the comments of other players and lack of support for what he is accused of.

I could never have a role model whose real name is Eldrick.

Tiger, you dirty dawg you
Alright, I'd say or think that too, even if you weren't such a "super"star.
It's one thing to cheat on your wife and then you've added insult to injury by doing so while she was giving birth to YOUR child.

Role model or not, a responsible adult and one that "supposedly" loves his/her spouse - simply does not do that.

I'm sorry that your fame has brought the added scrutiny and all, but you as a person [and anyone else famous or not] could show some restraint.
Sounds like a hormone adjustment is in need?

I think what he did was wrong to his family and his wife.
I don't think it should make his golf fans think less of his unquestionable talent as a sports hero.
Lots of men cheat.
Especially men with millions and millions of dollars.
(Maybe only millions now.....his wife will get the other millions.)
