I've always liked PeeWee.

I remember going to a cinema pub with friends to watch PeeWee's Big Adventure...while funny the 1st time it was even funnier the 2nd time after a couple pitchers of beer.

After the "scandal" he went by his real name Paul Rubens thus ducking the radar.

The biggest shock to me when Paul Reubens was arrested was that he looked nothing like PeeWee, not what he had been arrested for.

Especially the scene when Pee Wee jumps on the motorcycle and crashes into the Billboard. Hillarious!!!!!

I'd welcome him back but wouldn't watch the show. I don't recall really liking that show. I would always turn it when it would come on after school.
