I just don't know what to say. I adored his work ethic and pictures and humanitarianism. If my father were alive he'd have been the same age. I always thought they looked alike with their ruddy complexions and blue eyes. Oh my. Just so very sad.
Just heard minutes ago..RIP Mr Newman . What a great life. Not only on the screen, but with helping others. He was also a US military veteran as well. Thanks for your service, laughs and good nature, Paul
Many years ago while walking on 5th Ave in NYC right by St. Patrick's there was a gorgeous man with the most beautiful blue eyes walking towards me. He noticed I recognized him and put his finger to his lips, winked and smiled. I respected his request and went my way floating on air.
RIP Mr. Newman and thank you for being the ultimate gentleman.
What a terrible blow! Paul Newman was an incredible man and a great actor. A symbol of dignity, grace, class, generosity, and substance, he has always been a man that I have tried to emulate as I live my own life. It was my hope that one day that I would meet him and tell him so. I had even thought of moving to Connecticut because it was where he resided.
May this great man rest in peace and I will always cherish what he stood for and his portrayals of various characters in the movies he did. This is a very sad day and a great loss. My heart goes out to his family.
