99% certain, but unfortunately 100% wrong.... there is no way of resetting so that you revert to a previous update, so unfortunately you're stuck with an almost useless 3g iphone until such time as apple decide to release a 3g specific software upgrade which is less processor intensive.. the 3g phones are just too slow to handle the new software! (I'm in the same boat myself, before 'updating' my software my phone was working fine, now it's hopeless- thanks apple :-)
