Sprint is my provider, my phone is a Samsung MM-900, I have about a year to go on the plan. The voice quality of the phone is so-so, battery life stinks even after replacing the battery. I Just got another car that has Bluetooth. I looked up the charts and my phone and the cars Bluetooth are incompatable.
Can I buy another phone from a different carrier and still use it with Sprint with my current contract or do I have to sign another contract.
I use the phone for two things, talk with my daughters and text with them. That's it.
Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
A) Go to Sprint store and see if they can resolve your issues.
B) Buy a new phone from Sprint at full price (very pricey and will not extend contract)
C) Buy a Sprint phone from someone on eBay or Craigslist (best option imo and will not extend contract)
You cannot use another carrier's phone with Sprint.
You can't use another carrier's phone with Sprint at all.
If anything, your best option is to find a phone you like that will work with your car's bluetooth and get it from somebody on eBay. However, make sure to contact the seller and check the ESN of the phone they are selling. You don't want to spend money on a phone only to find out that it is stolen and still attached to an account.
