hahaha ya right^^^^^^^ It is pretty well documented that the iphone is pretty well crippled in nyc. way to much strain on the network,i almost never have 3g connectivity on my work iphone but am always 3g on my EVO. BTW the 4g in hartford ct rocks.
I guess I am just lucky. I readily admit I have never been to Chicago but this year I have been to NYC more times than I can count, Boston on most holidays (including this one) and all over the gulf this summer and it worked fine. I have had to the airplane mode shuffle a couple of times tho.
Oddly did not work at all on Ocracoke Island. Not just bad signal but literally no signal.

I switched to Verizon at the end of October.
I knew I probably wouldn't be getting as much value for my money as I did with AT&T but Verizon had the phone I wanted.
I do wish they had tiered data plans and I think eventually they will.
There is so much wi-fi available, I could get away with not using the 3G network BUT since I'm paying $30 a month for unlimited data, I try to use the 3G as much as I can.
I was with AT&T and I loved their rollover minutes.
Right now with Verizon I can call any cell phone in America and it's free. The only thing that eats my minutes are calls to my voicemail, landlines, and 1-800 numbers. It's not a bad deal.

When you dial your own phone number from your cell phone, it takes you to your voicemail, allowing you to check it. This way it counts as mobile to mobile.

$129/month for two HTC Evo phones with 1,500 shared anytime minutes, free nights and weekends (used to be a big deal!), free calls to any cell phone on any network, unlimited text, unlimited data.
We never come close to going over the 1,500 anytime minutes because 90% of our calls are to other cell phones and those are free and do not count against the 1,500.
Oh well that makes sense....I knew they weren't going to let Sprint get away with that for too long....
The Anytime Mobile coupled with the EVO and Epic has allowed me to bring over close 10 people from Verizon to Sprint in the 1 yr 1/2 since I made the switch...and all of them have no complaints Sprint works everywhere my Verizon did and at better rates what's not to love...
Sprint still has better plans and offers more in their Everything plans, Verizon must be feeling some heat otherwise they wouldn't be taking pages from Sprint's Playbook....Last thing Verizon offers is Value.
Love strong competition..that's what we need from Sprint to pull some subscribers from the monmouth Verizon and AT&T even the playing field, prices will become better for everyone.
