OK, there are cases we leave our cell phone somewhere like on Sofa or under a table and could not find it.In this case, are you tired of asking your friends to call your phone?

Well, you can use a web phone to ring your phone at no cost, simplely type your phone number, unless your cell phone is off or on vibration mode, you will hear the ringtone and just go find it.

Check it out MOD CUT.

Next time when your friend asks you to call him/her, just send this link.

I've used wheresmycellphone.com for years. That's the problem with not having a landline anymore. At the same time, there's no way I'm paying $40+ / month just so I can call my cell phone.

Hi floor9, thanks, I tried it and it worked like a charm, just like what I posted.

It seems you can call US and Canadian numbers only. But I understand.

I didn't look but I'm wondering if those and other sites like them have a privacy policy in place? Or perhaps they might be collection cell numbers to sell to marketing companies?

If you have an android phone, you can use the "Where's My Droid" app - you text it (via a friend, email, etc) a "secret word" and it will turn off silent/vibrate, turn the sound all the way up and start ringing. Pretty awesome app

The one I posted is (or at least was, not sure if it still is) run by a friend of mine from another forum. I can vouch for his obsession with not collecting / storing your information. However, I haven't run into him in a while, and I haven't been to the site in a while, so YMMV.

Well I understand your concern, you can see its privacy in place. Meantime, you can check "keep number private", then no one will be able to see your number.
