I'm looking to trim the fat off my bill and dump data and all the extra unneeded minutes/text messages, one line ,one user

anyone with Verizon have similar usage habits as me?(listed in title) What plan do you use and how much is your bill? the 1.99 / day plan (unlimited minutes and 2c/text when I do use it) ( I'd say I used my phone about 12 to 18 days a month,
or
0.99 / day Unlimited mobile to mobile (most of mine are to other mobiles phones, 0.10/ min night/weekends 10¢/text

or no cost /day 0.25 mobile to mobile, 0.25 night/weekends, 0.25 each additional minute and 0.20 / text

a,b, or c
or a cheaper prepaid carrier?

Virgin Mobile. $25 / month for unlimited text, unlimited data, and 300 minutes. You should also look at Straight Talk and Tracfone.

For the Verizon plans, option C would cost you around $42.50 per month (130 x $.25 plus 50 x $.20). Between options A and B, you'll have to look at your bill and see how many mobile-to-mobile minutes you use.

THIS X 1000000000

I switched to VM because I love to use text and data, but I don't really talk much. $25 a month is just sexy. HOWEVER, as of July 20 their rates (for new members) did go up, so that plan we are speaking about is now $35 a month.

$35 (+$10 from old price) gets you 300 minutes w/ unlimited everything else
$45 (+$5 from old price)gets you 1200 minutes w/ unlimited everything else
$55 (-$5 from old price)gets you unlimited everything.

Still.. $35 is a fantastic deal if you don't use many minutes. IF you have no desire at all to text a lot and use data, then Tracphone and Straight Talk may be better options.

I personally feel that if you are going to get a plan that uses unlimited data.. why not get an android? But everyone has different wants/needs

Hope this helped!

Take a look at MetroPCS dot com. You can have your current phone flashed to Metro. Wide coverage.

Take a look at Net10 dot com for Pay as You go. Many of their phones can be purchased at WalMart. I got a pretty basic LG for $15 w/200min (texting is one/half minute). 200 mins is $15.

Take a look at PagePlus Cellular dot com for 1200min/2000txt/100meg @ $30 month and can use some Verizon phones (I think not BB's or Pantex). Works on Verizon network (even Txt msgs are @vtext.

I have used VirginMobile a couple of times with complete satisfaction. Their service leases SprintPCS.

Take a look at HowardForums dot com for an excellent cellular reference.
