I'll drop my landline when the "911 needs to know where to go" billboards drop, too.

AT&T adds 'minimum use' fee for those who don't use long distance | cleveland.com
Last month I was outraged to get my monthly AT&T phone bill (only have a landline, no LD, or any features)...and see it had jumped up from from $28.30 monthly charge..to $30.30. Asked a friend...they did'nt know why...just thought they AGAIN..increased the monthly charge.

Now, are you telling me...those AT&T 'rats' have raised our rate...because we don't use their 'Long Distance service?

Where can I go to get another quality 'landline' phone company?

Don't want any 'computer' connection deal, either.

There may be a variety of companies that offer local phone service in your area. They usually charge somewhat less than what the major cariers cost. Most of them are listed in the phone directory books or try an internet search for them.
