As if Blackberry isn't taking enough of a beating this year, it seems that a multi-nation Blackberry outage has just hit the US.

What did one Blackberry user say to the other? Nothing!

I read about this this morning, just as a user called about her blackberry not syncing emails. Our BES was talking to the phone just fine....she'd get emails for 10 mins at a time, then it wouldn't push for an hour or more. We had several people call and complain so I had to send a company-wide email explaining this.

I hope they get it fixed soon. They're going down in flames and I can't see them lasting too much longer in their current state.

Blackberry's have an outage like this approximately once a year. It lasts for a few hours and then it works again. Then it works fine until the following year (usually October) when it happens again. That's not bad at all. It doesn't shake my confidence at all, like some biased (the just love Apple) media reports say. It's no big deal. The 3 day outage in other countries was bad, but here it was only about 6 hours or so, no different than in the past. I've been using BB's since 2005.
