I'm an idiot & am using unlocked phone overseas - eating up phone cards like no tomorrow.
How do I turn wi-fi & other costs off?
I've gone to settings and turned as much off as I can.

Thanks for your help.

Wifi shouldn't be costing you. It would be standard Data that is eating your cards alive.

Go to Settings -> General -> Network

Put the "Cellular Data" option into "Off".. and turn off 3G.

Thanks.
I'll give that a shot, I already had 3G turned off.
During a 2 hour dinner I used 66 baht (over $20).
Hopefully, I'll be able to make a call in the morning.

I couldn't understand why wi-fi was costing because I have an iPod touch that gets free internet.

I'll get back to you tomorrow.
