I have to buy a smartphone since I just have a puny 2G phone.

Is there a limit to how many browser bookmarks you can have? If so, which phones allow more or less?

Do all smartphones have GPS? All smartphones allow maps, yet perhaps some don't show you your own location on the maps. I don't know.

Are there any features that exist on only some smartphones, that you like? Sometimes a device will have a feature that you're not even aware of, and you think you don't need it that much, but after you've used it for a while, you can't live without it.

I am unaware of any limitations re: number of bookmarks on any phone.

Yes they all do. Keep in mind using it as a GPS for directions uses data so you may want to get a better plan for that.

I like Android phones because I like to tinker.
Don't like the dialer? Download a new one. Don't like the contacts app? Download a new one. Want to change the entire interface? Download a new launcher.
Not a tinkerer? Get an iPhone.
