Can anybody help? I got an iPhone but after I set up multiple email accounts, how do I tell which account has new mail? For each account, I still have various number of unread mails.

Android is a whole lot easier in my view.

In what view are you trying to see this info? From the little icon you will see a combined number, and when viewing your mailboxes you should have little bubbles like this:

(although the pic could be photoshopped, ATT with full bars? Fake )

The bubbles are indicative of unread mail. If you mean new as in "I already know I have unread messages as of 10 minutes ago, but do I have new mail from that point till now?" you're outta luck.

You can go into settings from the general menu. Go to notifications. It will let you choose how you want to get alerted of new email. You can choose alert and banner. So when you choose banner, it will appear at the top of your phone. Once it disappears at the top, just drag down the notification center at the top of the screen and it wil show you which account has new email.
