176?!?!? And you aren't a heavy user?
I am guessing you don't use all that many of them??

Oh, I use a lot of them, if not most of them, but some are still being evaluated. I've only had the thing for eight months or so, and I don't pretend to be a super-heavy iPhone user since I don't live in my iPhone like some of my cow orkers and friends do.

I just like collecting useful utilities. And sometimes I can't make up my mind which program in a group of two or three is the best one, so I tend to keep a few redundant programs around.

When I do eventually upgrade my iTouch, the only reason I'm going to get a larger one is because I want more storage space for even more songs, and I'd rather not have to compress them to fit.

If you don't plan to put a ton of music and videos on it, 16 GB should be fine. If you think you'll use it as your iPod as well as a phone, then get 32 or 64.
