iPhones aren't "easier to operate". I don't get that comment. Like ANdroid are hard to figure out or something? Not.
My clueless sister figured out her Android phone on her own.

I don't get the "they just work" comment either. Android phones "just work", too.
In fact, pre-OS5, I would say ANdroid phones "just work" better. Prior to that you had to activate your phone.... by connecting it to iTunes. With your Android phone, you remove from box, dial *228, and bam. It would just work.

um... ok.
As I always say, I like both devices.

But to say "iOS just works" "iOS is easier to use" is just plain fanboyism...

So your post has no relevance..

We also have 2 IPad 2's, several iPods, several older gen iPhones, iBook g4 etc etc..

But no more Apple, all their products have a very short life span, with key components such as power button always fails within a certain time frame..

And their software starts to become laggy once the next gen of the certain devices is out, which makes you think if apple does that intentionally, or do they?

I just started using an ipod touch that i won YEARS ago (would have used it earlier, if i didn't need to use itunes--yuck)..anyway, the device picks up wifi at the LOWEST speeds possible; in addition, i am suppose to "pay" for an IOS upgrade to get any apps on the phone?????? I'm starting to think the same thing about it being intentional. However, I wanted to start using this thing to see if I would like apple enough to invest in their new iphone 5.

I've actually been very happy with the 4S and don't feel myself highly tempted by the new one. I would have to buy it off contract and sell my old one privately, which is a huge hassle just to have the latest and greatest. Most likely I'll just hang onto mine for another year.

I wasn't replying to you, I was clarifying to the other poster about his misunderstanding regarding iOS upgrades.
