I just jailbreaked my iphone 3GS and interested in some good camera or video apps from Cydia. I've read the apps on Cydia are better than the apps store.

What I do now is take pics with a regular camera, download them to my computer, then email them to people, because the pics are better. I can zoom, use flash, adjust to low/high light, etc.

What do you guys recommend?

I don't do "serious photography", certainly not with my iPhone, but I think Top Camera and Camera+ are both pretty good pieces of software. Both are in the standard app store.

Thanks rcsteiner. I see a lot of people like Camera + and Camera Awesome. Another one is Luma for video.

I'm not a serious photography person either, but I like nice, pretty clear pics. The iphone 3GS is not good in my opinion. The iphone 4 is better, but I've decided that after the iphone, I'm going to update to a droid phone like Samsung Galaxy II. I believe the iphone to be overrated.

I would recommend actually checking them out. Top Camera has more manual settings than Camera+, a dual setting sound activated shutter, and other fun things to play with.
